El Paso Del Norte Port of Entry

Tompkins' contract includes comprehensive design-build services for the El Paso Del Norte Port of Entry. The project includes construction of a new headhouse, a new kennel building, expansion of administration space, renovation of an existing kennel building and various site improvements. Bridging documents were prepared for the GSA by F.W. Kessler & Associates. The project is aiming for LEED certification according to the U.S. Green Building Council guidelines. The existing kennel was also retrofitted, extended and converted into what is now the ICE building.
